Sophie Williams is an ex global Leader at Netflix, and has held the titles of COO and CFO in London advertising agencies.
She is a speaker, the author of The Glass Cliff, Millennial Black & Anti-Racist Ally, a TED Speaker, the voice behind Instagram’s @OfficialMillennialBlack, the host of the podcast Welcome to Successville and The Intersection newsletter. Since 2022 Sophie has been part of the UN Women UK’s delegation to the Commission of the Status of Women conference.
As a speaker, Sophie regularly delivers keynotes, presentations, workshops and training sessions for businesses such as Apple, Amazon, Google, Barclays, the NHS, UK Civil Service, Sky and many more.
Sophie leads frank and necessary discussions around race, gender and the intersection of the two, with a particular focus on Blackness and womaness and their impact on lived experiences in the workplace. She takes a data driven and research led approach, breaking down complex research and trends into accessible and easy to understand discussions.
